Read the article "Hospitality & Tourism Employment Overview" below. Choose 11 positions that you are interested in (from the aritcle) and complete the 3 columns on the worksheet - Job Title, Why It Interests Me and Skille, Knowledge or Personal Characteristics Needed.  Next to the last column, research and write the AVERAGE salary for each position.

Community Service Opportunity For ALL STUDENTS!!!!

Gladiator Educators,

We are asking for your help in spreading the word....

Please encourage your students to take part in the Saturday Environmental Field Trips! Students may earn up to 4 hours for each Saturday they attend. This wonderful community service opportunity for our students in sponsored by the Key Club and the Environmental Club but all interested students are welcome to come along. Come out and represent your club or your team.

Payment ($4.00 per Saturday) and field trip forms are available in the cafeteria during lunch, and at Key Club meetings. Also, please remind your students to return their signed field trip forms.


For our last Saturday event, on Jan. 23rd, some 60 students removed exotics at Tropical Park and cut back overgrown vines at Countyline Scrub Preserve.
